I love being a part of this innovative team at BYU and am inspired by our school vision, mission, and values that extend the spirit of a BYU education to all high school students by providing a spiritually strengthening, intellectually enlarging, and character-building education through a safe online learning environment that utilizes best practices and leads to lifelong learning and service.

I attended Texas A&M University and Sam Houston State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with specializations in English, Language Arts, and Reading and my Master of Education in Administration with Principal Certification. As a certified school teacher and administrator in both Texas and Utah, I bring experience from both online and brick-and-mortar public and private schools. 

Over the last twenty years, I have served as an English Language Arts Teacher and Interventionist, English Language Specialist and Interventionist, School Board Secretary, Administrative Consultant, Head of School, Principal, and Assistant Superintendent. I have devoted my career to developing, leading, and teaching in schools in diverse educational settings.
