Your student’s journey starts with a house full of new friends

Let the friendly rivalries begin! Students at OHS are placed into houses to foster an instant connection with their peers and set the stage for friendly competition. At OHS every student belongs to something bigger than themselves.

House of Penrose
House of Knight
House of Maeser

The houses provide a place for hangouts where students get to chat with others in their house, enjoy fun activities, participate in friendly competitions, and earn points to win the school cup and gain the ultimate bragging rights!

Clubs, clubs, and more clubs

To create a more engaging learning environment and strong social connections, OHS offers a variety of clubs that enable students to meet others with similar interests.  Examples of clubs are listed below—these change from year to year based on student interest.

Recent Graduate

BYU Online High School gave me the flexibility to finish my classes while I was across the country for the summer. Working at my own pace made it possible for me to graduate sooner, and the courses were well organized and easy to follow. I’m very grateful I had this option.

As a parent, I appreciate that BYU Online High School allows our student to continue progressing toward graduation from anywhere. These courses are ideal for students who need flexibility, independence, and strong academic support.

Junior

Live teacher instruction at BYU Online High School makes all the difference. It’s not just about the material; it’s having someone there in real-time to answer questions and guide me through tough concepts. It keeps me motivated and confident, knowing the support is always there.
