Choosing a diploma track determines the rigor of your coursework and helps set guidelines for your schedule. The courses below are recommendations and can be customized to suit your needs by working with your school counselor or advisor.

What to consider when planning your schedule
- You can mix Semester Live and Flex Courses, though each type has different timelines for completion.
- Balance your course load with your level of participation in school activities.
- Any credits you have earned at another accredited high school are transferable.
- At least 6–7 credits (12–14 courses), depending on your diploma track, must be completed through BYU Online High School to receive a diploma.

Provide your student’s most recent transcript so we can place them in the right courses. Upload or email—whatever is easiest. - Meet with a Counselor or Advisor
After acceptance, your family will meet with a school counselor or academic advisor to create a personalized graduation plan. We’ll walk you through every step. - Enroll in Courses
Enroll and select the classes that fit your student’s goals and schedule. Core requirements, electives, AP options—everything is built to be flexible. - Start Learning!
Once enrolled, your student can log in and begin learning right away. Courses are flexible and supported by certified teachers.
